Caney Fork River canoe rentals are a fun way to spend the day in Tennessee. The Caney Fork River is long and full of Rainbow and Brown trout. Caney Fork River canoeing is simple with our company. Canoe the Caney rentals offer shuttle transportation to and from Center Hill Dam, Happy Hollow, and Betty’s Island. The Caney Fork River has a lot of history and we try to include that in some of our trips. Canoes and kayaks are available seven days a week. Our canoe and kayak fleet are large enough to accommodate large groups. Canoe the Caney has a large, 25 passenger air conditioned shuttle bus that makes the transportation enjoyable and comfortable. Caney Fork River canoe and kayak rentals can be scheduled in advance for large groups or walk in customers are welcome as well.

The Caney Fork hosts visitors from all over Tennessee and many other states as well. The Caney Fork River is stocked with trout fish, so not only is it a local favorite but it is something worth driving for if you are an avid fisherman. The Caney Fork River is stocked with over 100,000 Rainbow and Brown Trout by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) each year. The section in which they stock begins in Silver Point at the Center Hill Dam area. The section of the river in which we provide canoes and kayaks also begin at the dam and ends 9 miles down river at Betty’s Island.

The six mile point from the dam is the Happy Hollow pick up. The canoe or kayak trip takes about one and a half to two hours to paddle straight through. We allow you up to four hours so you have plenty of time and can stop to enjoy fishing or a picnic along the way. The Betty’s Island trip takes about an hour more to travel and you have up to six hours total for this nine mile trip.

We have many adventure packages so there is bound to be something for everyone! One of our most popular trips is the Romantic Picnic package. The romantic picnic is perfect for birthdays, special occasions, anniversaries, or just a fun day together! The picnic package includes one canoe rental, life jackets, two sandwiches, two drinks, two bags of chips, a picnic basket and a picnic blanket. We do have souvenirs available to commemorate the day!

We also have several trips available for kids of all ages. “The Curse of the Black Pearl” and “Search for Treasure at Betty’s Island” are two of our most popular family trips. It is very imaginitive and exciting for boys and girls alike. The scenic trip is the most popular trip all around.

The river is beautiful, so just gliding down it and taking in the sights is something worth doing.
