To Plan Your Trip With Us
Canoe The Caney™ Canoe and Kayak Rentals on the Caney Fork River

Kayaking on the Caney Fork is fun and easy for everyone! With our easy going class 1 river, this will be the perfect opportunity to learn how to kayak or if you already know how to kayak, just kick back and enjoy the beautiful scenery our river has to offer!

Kayak Options: We like to offer options so we have a few kayak types to choose from.

*Sit-On-Top Kayaks – The sit-on-top kayaks are perfect beginner kayaks. They are wider and flatter so they are very easy to get in and out of.

*Sit-Inside Kayaks – These kayaks sit lower in the water and some feel that they give you a little more stability- these do not have skirts so it is still easy to get in and out of them.

*Tandem Kayaks – The tandems are  two person kayaks. Much like a canoe  but easier to maneuver and handle due to the lighter weight. (Staff Hint: These are ideal for parents wanting to let their children try out a kayak but are not yet comfortable with them flying solo.)

As you can see, we have something for every comfort level. Not sure which one would suit you best? No problem! Our friendly staff will be happy to help you decide or answer any questions you may have.

With your rental we provide the kayak, the paddles, life jackets and the shuttle service to and from the river! It doesn’t get any easier than that!

We offer a 6 mile, 9 mile, and a 15 mile trip. For more information about which trip you may want to take including the time it will take for each, refer to our Canoe information page by clicking HERE.

6 Mile Trip-

Weekday-$34.99 per person

Weekend-$37.99 per person

9 Mile Trip-

*For the 15 mile trip, we do require a minimum of 10 kayaks or 7 canoes as well as 72 hour notice, not available on most weekends.
