Haunted Canoe Trip

This Fall at Canoe the Caney, bring your friends and climb aboard our trolley for a spine-tingling, after-dark, ghost tour.

Trolley RideSetting the stage for this chilling adventure, your tour will begin with a trolley ride to the old cemetery where you’ll hear the true and disturbing accounts of a flooded town, lost graves, ghostly visits, unexplained voices, and sounds. You will then take a short walk to the old dock on Center Hill Lake where, along the way, you will hear other accounts of ghostly hauntings as your walk through the old military recreation base.

Once you arrive at the dock, you will board your boat and paddle over the original location of the old 1800’s sunken cemetery that is just a mere 15 feet below the water’s surface. This is where many believe the lost graves still remain and local lore tells stories of spirits trapped just beneath the dark waters of Cemetery Cove.

Are you brave enough to paddle these waters as your tour takes you deep into the Cove? It’s frightening, it’s unbelievably dark, and….it’s real! Join us — if you dare.

Trips are available Friday and Saturday nights From September 16th  – November 13th, 2016. Trips run each hour from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.  Reservations must be made and paid in advance!  Starting at $30 per person – Call for package details.
