Happy Hollow is our first stop on the Caney Fork. This trip will take you 6 miles downriver from Center Hill Dam.
It should take approximately 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours depending on how quickly you paddle and the water flow.
This is a great stretch of the river for beautiful scenery, trout fishing, and casual floating.
Betty’s Island Access – 9 miles
Betty’s Island is our most popular trip. This trip will take you 9 miles downriver from Center Hill Dam.
It should take approximately 3 to 5 hours depending on how quickly you paddle and the water flow.
On this section of the river, in additional to all that you see on the 6 mile- you will also be treated to an old 1800’s train bridge, a nest of bald eagles, and a large cave that many of the more daring explore! You will also go under 3 sets of interstate bridges so for everyone driving over the river coming to and from Nashville, this is your chance to paddle under it!
Stonewall Bridge is our 15 mile stretch and is available to groups renting 7 or more canoes. This is a great trip for scouts looking for that canoe badge! It will take 5 to 6 hours on average. Reservations for this trip must be made 72 hours in advance.
South Carthage is our 20 mile stretch and is available to groups renting 10 or more canoes. This is an all day trip and can leave no later than 10:00. This trip will take 7 hours on average. Reservations for this trip must be made 72 hours in advance.
