During Exploration Days, July 28th – August 26th, Canoe the Caney is proud to offer unique trips that will allow guests to see different sections of the Caney Fork River from the Dam all the way to Carthage.
This trip is our fourth event, scheduled August 18th and 19th, which will take paddlers 11 miles downstream from Betty’s to South Carthage. On this trip paddlers will explore many beautiful sites and an abundance of wildlife. Paddlers will also enjoy some history as they paddle under the old Condemned Stone Wall Toll Bridge built in 1901, which was closed to the public in January 1973. From there paddlers will continue to enjoy as they continue 5 miles to the final destination at the South Carthage Ramp.
The trip will depart at 10:00 am CST and we pick up at 4 pm CST
