Choose your departure
When can we get on the water?
Choose your trip and date in our booking calendar to see available departures. Times vary with the season, demand, weather, and water conditions. The schedules below are typical daytime river departures; they are not guaranteed for every date.
Monday–Friday
9:30 AM & 11:30 AM
1:30 PM departures are offered on select days, depending on river conditions and demand.
Saturday & Sunday
8:30 AM–2:30 PM
Typical departures run hourly on the half-hour. Later afternoon departures depend on available daylight, water conditions, and the seasonal schedule.
Morning departures give you the most flexibility. During the regular daytime schedule, trips must finish by 6:00 PM. Seasonal return times may be earlier; follow the instructions for your reservation.

Scenic River Trips
Our popular scenic float typically takes 2–5 hours, depending on river flow, your pace, and time spent along the way. Pick an earlier departure if you want a longer day outdoors.
Hidden Waterfall Excursion
This Center Hill Lake adventure has its own schedule and is offered when lake levels and conditions allow. Allow approximately 3–5 hours, including transportation, and check the trip page before booking.
Haunted Canoe Trip
Our fall evening experience follows a separate event schedule. Choose an available date and ticket option, then use your confirmation for the correct arrival time and tour details.
Daytime schedules may be reduced outside the peak summer season. Check available dates before traveling, and call if you need help planning. Evening Haunted Canoe events follow their own hours.

From Nashville
Follow I-40 east to Exit 273. Turn right at the exit. Continue approximately one mile; our building is on the right.
From Knoxville
Follow I-40 west to Exit 273. Turn left at the exit. Continue approximately one mile; our building is on the right.

Reserve your spot
Book ahead to secure your trip and equipment. Your confirmation is the place to check your selected departure and any trip-specific instructions.
Give yourself time
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in, waivers, life jacket fitting, and shuttle loading. Allow extra travel time on busy weekends.
Check conditions
Review the notice at the top of our website before leaving home. Weather and river conditions can affect departures, routes, or whether trips operate.
Check in at the store before unloading. Our team will explain the shuttle arrangements and direct you to the appropriate location.

Planning questions
Are store hours the same as trip departure times?
No. Your reserved departure is the time your trip is scheduled to leave. Arrive ahead of that time. For store visits or dates without listed departures, call for current operating hours.
What time zone should I use?
Use Central Time for your reservation and arrival. Travelers coming from eastern Tennessee should account for the time-zone change.
Can we plan a group or company outing?

Can we get something to eat while we’re there?
The Caney River Tavern offers food on site. Check current availability and leave time to eat before your departure or after your trip. See food options.
