During Exploration Days, July 28th – August 26th, Canoe the Caney is proud to offer unique trips that will allow guests to see different sections of the Caney Fork River from the Dam all the way to Carthage.

This trip is our second event, scheduled August 4th and 5th,  which will take paddlers 10 miles downstream from Happy Hollow to the Old Stonewall Bridge. On this trip paddlers will first explore some history as they paddle under the old 1800’s train bridge. From there guests will continue downstream to see the Pirate’s Cave! Guests will also enjoy as they paddle under the Interstate several times, seeing the sites they see each time they pass over the Caney. Guests will continue down river making their way to the final destination to the Old Condemned Stone Wall Toll Bridge built in 1901, which was closed to the public in January 1973.

The trip will depart at 9:00 am CST and we pick up at 2 pm CST
