While you have the freedom to do as you please, for general safety we still recommend 3+ for any waterway with a current. The best way to stay safe is to know the dangers before hand and be prepared!

Self-Service Canoe and Kayak Rentals

Self Servicing rentals are now being offered at Canoe the Caney. If you have transportation to and from wherever you are going but seem to be a boat or two short then we now have you covered! Book your self service reservation where you get to choose how many canoes, kayaks, and even tandem kayaks you will be needing. Then just come here to us and pick them up, all we ask is you have them back by the end of the day.

Once you’ve picked up your self service rentals, you’re free to explore the waterways at your own pace. Whether you’re planning a leisurely paddle along the tranquil waters of Center Hill Lake, an adrenaline-filled journey down the Caney Fork River, or taking a trip to some of the Nashville waterways, the choice is yours. With our flexible rental options, you can enjoy your adventure on your own schedule and return the canoe or kayak after your allotted rental period.

Where do I get my Self Service Rentals?

If you are choosing to pick your self service rentals up on the weekday, you will be coming to our main store location at 17055 Smithville HWY, Silverpoint, TN 38582 to pick up your boats. Just type Canoe the Caney into your GPS and it should bring you right here!

If you are wanting to pick up a boat on the weekend you may have to go to our HUB location. Since we are more busy on weekends, we run our trips out of a location closer to the river. And because of this, we move most of our boats there. Our hub is located at 8300 Medley Amonette Rd, Silverpoint, TN 38582. It looks almost like a small shack located under a large Canoe the Caney billboard!

Don’t think twice about where to return the self service rentals though! Since our Hub is generally open until 5pm as well as our main store, you can return the boat to either location. Just make sure you talk to one of our crew and let them know you are returning a rental so we can get you marked off as returned.
